  • Rockin 3d Mark Performance Benchmarks

When I first replaced a TNT2U with the G400, I though.... was this a bad decision or what.

Now with the 5.3 drivers, TurboGL openGL performance, and these levels of 3D mark scores..,, awesome.

How come you folks are using TripleBuffering with VSync DISabled ???

You should either run DoubleBuffering wjen VSync is off or turn VSync on when using TripleBuffering !!!

Go figure ... and compare the results

              Cheers,

My scores are lower with vsync on.

Guess I'll have to post my results from the run I did when I got the scores from the other post I made (here: http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum4/HTML/001557.html), and then re-run the benchmark after disabling vsync and post that, just to see any improvements. BTW- why are my scores higher than similarly configured systems (P3-450@558, 256 MB ram, G400Max- reference my score on the other post, 5684 3DMarks)? I used the default settings for 3DMark99Max (build 200, I'm sure, because my scores look right, vs. the older version, which cuts the score roughly in half), just had vsync enabled in the drivers (UT seems to have less tearing/jitter with vsync for build 348, imho).
