TV-Out Black/White

    TV-Out Black/White

    So far the Tv-Out on my G400 DH 32Mb has been perfect, using the composite connector.
    Now, when trying to use the S-Vhs connector/cable + s-vhs to SCART connector, I'm getting black/white picture...
    how do i solve this?

    oh yeah, my tv is PAL...

    Well, not all (in fact, very few) TV sets support S-signals through the SCART. The S-signal is transmitted via two wires, one for luminance, and one for colour. In composite video, both signals are transmitted via one wire. So, if you connect an S-cable via an adapter to a SCART socket that does not support S-signals, you get B/W picture.

    Solutions:
    1) Change TV
    2) Go back to Composite video
    3) In the unlikely but possible case that your TV does support S-signal through SCART, configure your TV accordingly.
