G400 Marvel SPDIF

I just got my Marvel but I was under the impression that there should have been a SPDIF connector on the break out box.

There is space in the box with a rubber stopper to keep dust out but no SPDIF.

Are there two packages or did Matrox drop the SPDIF after all the reviewers said it was good for AC3 movies?

As far as I'm aware all Marvel G400s should have the SPDIF output connector.

nothing would use that connector anyway.... right now it's only being used when you have a DVD decoder from matrox... since they do not use this on the G400 and that the new Matrox DVD player uses the functions from your sound card... it would now be totaly useless...
