G400DVD dosn't work with Directx7?????

    G400DVD dosn't work with Directx7?????

    After 3 testing it seems that my G400DVD (cinemaster)doest like very much Directx7.
    When installing the program someone can see easily that a Dx6core file is been istalled in the system so this means that this DVD program can not be used in dx7(in my system anyway, but i think others must have the same problem).
    In Directx6.1 , G400DVD runs PERFECTLY!!!!!

    Any suggections?

    I use the Matrox DVD player with DX7 all the time. No probs.

      I'm using DX7 w/ Matrox DVD with no problems as well. I believe I installed the DVD software before upgrading to DX7.

        Maybe it this liveware 1.0 i'm using with my SBlive!.I use to have liveware 2.0 but after the last reinstall of my win98SE i can find the backup in my zips(it must be there somewere).Anyway wen i use dx7 and i insert a dvd in my DVD-RAM (ex. Face-off) it runs for 2 secs and then all the sytem halts and i need to reset to go on.(I must download liveware 3.0 some time)
