Windows 2000 RC2 and G400 Max?

Could someone please post step-by-step instructions for installing the G400 driver in Windows 2000 (RC2)?

I am having difficulties getting it working. I used add/remove hardware in the control panel, but after rebooting it still uses the VGA display driver.

I haven't tried it with the G400 yet, but I've done it with about three other boards. It's relatively easy.

Go into *Display Properties.*
Click the *Settings* tab.
Click the *Advanced* button.
Click the *Adapter* tab.
Click the *Properties* button.
Click the *Driver* tab.
Click the *Update Driver* button.
(You'll find yourself in the Update Device Driver Wizard right about now.)
Select "Display a list of known drivers ... blah, blah, blah."
Click *Have Disk.*
The *Install from Disk* dialogue box appears.
Click *Browse,* point windows at the directory where you unzipped your drivers, select the .inf file, and your on your way.

The key to all this is the *Have Disk* button, apparently. If you know of a shorter way to get there, do it, but the above method worked for me with a G200, a Voodoo2, and "The-Board-Whose-Name-Shall-Not-Be-Mentioned-Here."

Don't expect anything more than a display and the ability to change resolutions and color depth. You're using drivers in a very early stage of development.
