Marvel G400 or G400(Max)+RR G-series?

What the difference between Marvel G400 and G400+RR G-series? What to buy?
Is it only the additionel 16 MB SGRAM or is it different hardware/chip? Please help!

G400 Marvel is a 300 RAMDAC and 16 meg RAM.
The regular G400 is basiaclly the same, except with 32 megs.
Now the MAX is a faster chipset, and a 360 mHz RAMDAC. it also has a fan on the heat sink! : )

i would love to get a RR for my MAX, but i dont have the extra 200 bucks. : )

The same extern box? The same chips on the cards?

The RRG doesn't come with a BOB. With the Millennium G400 you will also be able to output to two monitors (or one monitor and one TV) while with the Marvel G400 only a monitor and TV. Chipset is the same.
Don't quote me on this but I believe the software bundle is also different (Ulead with the RRG and Avid Cinema with the Marvel). If you plan on using the video features often go for the Marvel.

Is it possible to connect the Marvel extern box to regular G400DH?
I think the RRG is an internal PCI-card. So RRG comes without an external box?!
I don`t have any free PCI-slots anymore.
The Marvel doesn´t have an internal PCI-card,

Yes and No, the marvel is not like the regular G400 SH since you have a second connector (similar to the dual head) that is needed for the "ombilical" cable that goes from the Marvel to your BOB.
Therefore making it impossible to plug the BOB on a non-Marvel G400.
The Marvel takes up an AGP slot and that's it.
