Gamma correction with MPEG files playing

Hi all,
does anybody know how to set up gamma correction in WindowsMedia Player or whatvever else software under NT, which could do that. Some of the movies i am viewing are showing extremely dark
Or does exist such feature in Matrox Powerdesk for NT ?
