Promise IDE RAID Controller problem solved
Im posting this for anyone like myself who has a Promise ide raid controller and a matrox gseries card. The promise controller wants to tag along on irq 11 w the agp slot and causes major Lockups. The remedy is to uninstall your promise card install the G400 drivers ect. Then reinstall your Promise controller. U may have to play around with what pci slot u use for the controller. Mine ended up being PCI slot 3 and it assighned itself to IRQ 10 and all is fine.
Hope this helps someone else from having the 3 day nightmare I had.
