G400 Desktop Problem

I just installed a G400 with the latest drivers and my desktop setting will not save.
Each time I boot, I have to reset the desktop size and position with my monitor
contolls. Also, the mouse cursor blinks when
I hold it over a tray icon. Basic system info as follows: Celeron 366@550, BH6, Hitachi 751, 128 Meg PC 100. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Sounds like you might have to reset your monitor type in display properties...I have the cm753 and had similar problems...My system just kept dropping my monitor type and would load the default vga monitor which would screw up all my settings...once I reset the monitor things seemed to settle down again...Hope this helps

Oh by the way...if the previous advise doesn't work try installing the matrox utilities program off of the matrox driver disk...
