....and a lone wolf howls as the Keepers of the Murc ride off into the sunset. Another job well done. Another foe vanquished and an innocent life saved.

It's me again, with sad news. I can't run NHL 2000 on my Matrox. I read the readme.txt in the game directory and it says Matrox Millenium, Millenium II and Mystique won't work in D3D with this game...Does that mean the the G400 doesn't work either though it clearly says on the box that it works with Matrox G200?

Know anyone who runs NHL 2000 on the G400?

I'll post a message in Matrox Gaming...

      Kamin.

This is my IRQs, I tried to put the 4in 1
VIA drivers on to this with terrible results.
If you guys can look at this and tell if they
are really necessary, I might try again.
I keep a copy of my system as it is now with
the 5.30 drivers on another HDD, so if I wipe out, I'll just reformat and copy. Thanks

If you have a VIA chipset mobo you may be better off going back one version of the drivers to 5.25, many people found that this was necessary with VIA based boards.

Ewww.. JWilliams. USB controler sharing an IRQ with the G400 is not a good thing. If you aren't using USB, disable it in the bios. If you are, try moving some stuff around to get it to another IRQ so the G400 has its own at IRQ 9 or higher. Actually, also turn off serial port 2 in the bios also unless you are using two serial devices. That just sucks up an irq, and the USB will probably jump down there if it is free.
