Matrox Millennium II AGP - DirectX7.0 problem!

Hiya.

I have just installed DirectX 7.0 for the Messiah Demo, have not used it previously but now the good old Matrox Diagnostic tool thinks I am running an OLD version of DirectX on Windows Startup.

Matrox seeming not to support the Millennium II anymore do not have any newer drivers than 4.33.045 for the Millennium II.

Any ideas how I disable the diagnostic thing as a fix because no doubt new drivers will not be forthcoming.

Go to start -> run
Type msinfo32.exe

I will do a kind of free translation here, my win98 is the portuguese version, but you should get there.

Then go to tools -> system configuration utility

Go to startup and uncheck Matrox Diagnostic

You should be prompted to reboot. Do it and there you go, M diagnostic doesn´t run at the startup anymore.
