  • Installed Corel Linux, Cant access

First, i know this isnt the right forum for this, but this is the most visited, so i thought someone might actually see it here rather than in the Alt Lifestyles Forum. Thanks

Yeah, i got the ISO of Corel Linux, burned it, made a boot floppy cause my Mobo wont boot off the CD. I installed it without any problems, having the install carve a 2.5 GB partition out of my exitisting 12.7 GB windows drive. The free space was there, no probs. So i finish the install and reboot, taking out the floppy. When the comp reboots, it ejects the CD and then loads DIRECTLY INTO WINDOWS 98SE! No selecting! In windows my main HD was cut down by 2.5 GBs meaning the partition was sucessful. But i have no idea how to ctually get into Linux now. Ive never used linux and was hoping that this distrib would be easy. My system specs are as follows:
    Pentium III 450 o/ced to 560 Mhz
    64 Mb PC133 SDRAM
    Abit BX6R2 (Intel BX chipset)
IDE 12.7 GB Quantum Fireball HD (with the 2.5 GB Linux partition carved out as stated)
    DVD-ROM- Pioneer 6x IDE
    Sony CD-RW 24x4x2
    Zip 250 Internal
    3Com ISA 56k Faxmodem (non-winmodem)
Matrox G400 Dual Head 32mb (i wasnt sure if this was a prob, i got he new XFree86 that supports it, but i cant install it yet cause i cant get in)
Xitel Storm Platinum Soundcard (not supported, hopefully i can run it as a SB16 or some simple device)

Please help! I have no idea how to actually access my new Linux and its driving me nuts!

I don't mean to be an a*****e, but the right people read Alt. Life., and if you don't post there, what's the point in having it.
I have the solution you're looking for, but I won't bother with it here.
Besides, your post seems like "clutter" to people that aren't at all interested in your problem. If they were interested, they'd read Alt. Life., now wouldn't they?
