When is next openGL coming out for NT4
Just curious how long us NT users will have to wait for a better openGL driver for NT4.

Nope, sick of bad quality openGL from matrox.
If there was a better solution for NT I would have dropped matrox by now. I suppose you use 98 or 95 so you don't have any problems.Comment

I think the next OpenGL driver for NT will not for NT4. It should be Win 2k. So the next release is year 2000 first Quard if M$ can release Win 2k. So no more NT4 driver will release. I don't beleive that. I need someone from matrox like Haig to say that's true or not. Win2k is not coming out for another 3 months. and drivers that are made for win2k seriously doubt will work under NT4Comment

No Galvin, I moved from Windows 3.11 to NT 3.1 and have stuck with NT ever since. Your only real hope for big NT 4 driver improvements now would be spinoffs from their W2k program (whatever that may be), and I doubt you will see much prior to its February release date.
I know what is like. I had 4 G200's sitting in NT boxes with no (useable) OpenGL for over 6 months.
It is an expensive lesson, but don't ever buy hardware for what it "should" be able to do.
