moving toolbar to horizontal orientation

My toolbar has moved to vertical orientation. Tried right click on the toolbar itself all options are darkened. Also went to Matrox Quickdesk clicked on desk navigator and clicked on horizontal tiles but nothing. any help appreciated. mark

If you mean the task bar (The one with the start button & clock on it), then click on an empty area of it, and drag it back down to the bottom (or top) of your screen with the left mouse button.
