BIOS gone

This might be off topic a bit but the german computer magazine CT had an interesting news headline a couple of days ago stating that there are some G200s produced in the first and second quarter of 99 using a serial prom for the BIOS which seems to lose the information stored in it. One of our customers had exactly this problem with a card he bought in march and it is exactly one of those suckers. There is a fix soon to be released by Matrox as they stated in a reply, which updates the BIOS code upon boot each time (contained in the driver). Maybe your Mystique suffers from the same thing?
