AGP 1x or 2x?

I just got wcpuid and it says that I'm only using agp 1x even though I have a g400 max with full agp 2x support

I also have an Athlon 500 o/c 550 with a K7M motherboard (which also supports agp 2x). How do I get it to use Agp 2x?

well this might help, i noticed that when my agp apeture size was set to 64 megs in the bios, only agp1x would run, but when i changed the apeture size to 128 megs agp 2x is now purring along. By the way I have 128 megs of sdram. hope this helps
