From reading everyone else's problems, I think that the uninstaller may not be completely clearing out some old files and causing some problems.

I installed the 5.41 drivers on my system on a clean install, and they work fine on my Marvel G200 TV, along with VT 1.51 and even the Matrox DVD Daughter card works better than it ever did before.

          Just thought you should know...

CMB, check my previous post on "found a (partial) fix for G200" to see how to completely disable PowerDesk and keep it from reloading. And even with a complete uninstall of the old drivers (with manual clean-up as well), it acts funky after installing 5.41.

I don't have any idea, but I can confirm that I can't start the System Shock 2 game engine after installing 5.41 ...

I could not play anything with 5.3, 5.41 not only work very, very stable, but also gave me a very nice and noticeable performance boost.
For example, with pd 5.25 my CPU score on a benchmark was ~385 (P100 = 100), with pd 5.41 score went up to ~430. The benchmark I used is not very good but it shows the difference.
Looks like the optimization of these drivers is quite good.
