Anyone know anything about those VGA projector thingys?

So ALBPM, how did the gaming go over the weekend (too bad about the 16 colors)? What is the size of you're image? How far away did you sit? Did you get dizzy and nauseous? I need to play with TV out (NTSC, blech) and see if Q3 is at all playable. I'm still using a twelve year old 50" Mitsibushi RPTV.

That projector debate died off quickly. Would have liked to hear about someone coming up with a good sub-$6K projector (RPTV or FPTV) that could handle HDTV. You add the cost of a good screen and a line doubler/quadrupler and it becomes quite a commitment. An HDTV capable 16x9 RPTV with built-in doubler is what will probably work best for me. Still waiting for the interconnect confusion to get sorted out. Guess I'll have to spend more time back in the home theatre forums to work this out.
