Win2000 Drivers problems...

    Win2000 Drivers problems...

    After I have installed G400 drivers for Win2000 and I reboot, there appears blue screen and note that:

    STOP: c0000263 {Driver Entry Point Not Found}
    The \SystemRoot\System32\DRIVERS\g400.sys device driver could not locate the entry point VideoPortQueueDpc in driver VIDEOPRT.SYS

    If anyone know sullotion for this problem, pleas help.
    My system is:
    ASUS P5A 1MB
    AMD K6/2 500mhz
    128MB
    13,7Gt Maxtor
    G400 Singlehead
    SB Live!
    Windows 2000 (Beta3) & Win98 installed to the same partition.

    I guess it's your BETA. I don't know if that's mentioned anywhere but it works with RC-3 (RC-2?).

      Something else to think about, I have a similar configuration as you. A P5A but a I have a G200. Anyway, there have been a number of people posting lately about Win2000 driver problems as I'm sure you've noticed. One trend that I have unfortunately noticed is that no one has yet gotten a G200 or G400 to work with a P5A under any RC of Win2000. So that may simply be your problem. I couldn't get the drivers to work either.

        I also have a P5A and a G400, and get the same error message you do. I had been assuming that it was do to having Beta 3, and not RC3. My system stats in full to follow:

        Asus P5A(WOA)
        AMD K6-3/450
        G400 32MB Dualhead
        128 MB ram
        WD 10GB HD.
        SB Live! Value
        Huappage WinTV
        Aiptek Hyperpen 5000 (that doesn't work in Win 2k either, but that's neither here nor there).
