Someone had told me that a good way to test out the stability of your system is to run a batch run through 3dmark99 max and to run it 10 times which takes about 6 hours. I setup the batch run and left the computer running it, a came back a little while later and the screen was locked up on one of the agp speed tests. I had to do a hard reboot and after checking noticed that the batch run did not make it past the 800 x 600 tests. Now I have a K6-2 450, 128 sdram, G400 32 SH OEM (non-max but has 5ns sgram and is not overclocked) I have run the techdemo successfully and experience no problems except the occasional lockups in UT after playing a while. My card is running at agp2x without forcing it and busmastering is on. Apeture size is 128. Should I be concerned that the system did not make it through the batch? Could it be heat related even though im not overclocking? My card does have a max size heatsink even though its not a max. Any advice would be appreciated.
PS. forgot to say im using 5.41 powerdesk
