cant adjust contrast in video overlay windows
I`m new to this forum, but couldn`t find a matching topic, so here it is. I`ve recently put in a G400 dual head 32mb in my new HTPC.
I`m using it for watching DVD with the Matrox DVD player, and also TV with a Hauppauge WinTV PCI. My display is a Barco CRT-projector. The problem is that the picture is a bit to dark when watching DVD. None of the controls in PD work in the DVD window, so I can`t get the greyscale right. In WinTV there is built in controls for brightness, contrast and saturation that work on the TV overlay window. No problem with dark pictures here. I`m not sure if this is a H/W limitation in the G400, or if it can be fixed in future driver updates, or perhaps via some extra utility.
