Calibrating 2 monitors in general is fairly easy. Calibrating the second head on a G400 DH is, I think, impossible - the Maven doesn't support it. The G400DH is an extremely flexible card, but if you really want to drive a second CRT, you are better off getting another card like a PCI Savage4, V3 2000 or even a G200...

Color Calibration with dual monitors

Ashley is right. The Maven chip that drives the second head does not allow for color calibration. Colorific should only affect monitor1. Any color adjustments to the monitor2 will have to be done with the monitors own controls.
As far as the picture quality goes, try switching the BNC back to the Mag, and see if that is the problem...Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

Color Calibration with dual monitors
I just bought a Philips Brilliance 201P (21" monitor). My Old monitor was a 17" Mag. I connected up the new monitor (I took the BNC cable from the Mag and used it to connect to the Phillips) and connected the Mag up again using a standard 15 pin cable. I then booted up the machine, installed the drivers and was very impressed, but I thought to my self, "If it looks this good now, what will it look like when I run the bundled 'Kodak Colorific' Software?" The simple answer was fantastic.
So far so good, now to turn on dual head display, straight forward. Not a problem, reboot and there are two working monitors, however, my Mag picture really sucks.
My question is why does my Mag look so bad now?
I Don't think the downgrade from BNC to 15pin cable would make that much difference (although I did notice an improvement when I first put the BNC on it). I think it is more to do with the calibration software. Could it be that the Kodak software is simultaneously adjusting both monitors??? I also do not have access to the RGB slidders that I used to use to adjust the mag in single monitor mode.
Does anyone know how to calibrate two monitors?Workhorse Athlon 1GHz, G400MAX
