DVD update problem

Well, ive got a G400Max running to the TV through co-axial and i went and got that Matrix movie (rocks!). So, i update Matrox DVD, for the new features, to 2.0.36.6158 and now when i press play on the control window it spins up the DVD then stops, not doing anything in the window.

please if anyone has info reply!
