New turboGL really ruined my day
This morning I was finaly sick and tired of those low fps in Q3 with my Celeron 300A @ 450, so I decided to get a PIII, after visiting 4 stores, I finaly found one that had a PIII in stock, well they had to rip it out of a system that was in use, so I had my PIII 450, bought some 133Mhz ram too, came home, did some tested, got on the internet, looked at Matroxusers, and wtf a turboGl for Celeron????????? Aaaaaaaaaarggh, I went beserk.
Well it isn't that bad after all, I got the PIII to 550Mhz running pretty steady, maybe 600 if I put some extra fans on it, most games run alot better and 3Dmark2000 is also alot faster (about 2500 @ default settings)
The only strange things is that 3Dmark scored better at 4.5*112 then 4.5*124
Well i'm gonna install the new TurboGL now, let's see how Unreal Tournament runs
