Marvel G400 and dvd ide with scsi hard drive

i am french and excuse me for my english.

when i read dvd with matrox dvd player(like videomaster so)my system (win98)says : error write on c:" and there is a blue screen.
i have to reboot and scan the disk.
i have scsi disk (seagate) and dvd creative labs ide.
with windvd98 it's good 3 time to 5.

this my pc :
motherboard p2b asus
pii 400
128 mo ram
marvel g400 agp
adaptec 2940 u2w pci
2 seagate 4.3 go scsi
1 cdrom pionner scsi
1 creative labs 5x first ide master alone
1 yamaha 1040 (to make cdrom)second ide master alone
3com 3c509 pci
soud blaster awe64 isa

all bios and release had been do.

help me if you have some ideas about because matrox and creative labs play ping pong with this question.
