My Bad Nuno... I am just so used to seeing the 172mhz from SiSoft Sandra because of AGP 2X..

Anyhow. Do I really care so much about AGP 4X?not really. AGP was intended to replace the memory onboard graphics cards so they would be cheaper. but with the likes of GeForce and V5 going to use 64-128mb onboard memory. Yes I know AGP would be useless with these cards.

It's a matter of principle. You buy a card and you believe what the specs and such say.

It just seems like since the card can not do AGP 4X seems like you just been robbed or something. I mean this could of been all cured if Matrox used Plain old english when describing the G400. "Works in AGP4X compatible Motherboards" would be sufficient. not "AGP4X/2X availalbe"... Oh Well I know that AGP isn't that big of deal but it is the principle of what you been lead to believe when you buy the product.

I have heard that Intel is going to release another chipset probably the i815 that will support AGP 4x, ATA66 and use PC-133 or PC-100 memory (depending on your bus speed) without a translating hub. Rummor is it will be out 1st quarter 2000. With the poor performance of the i820 using SD-RAM, I will wait for the next chipset.
