unable to VIDEO CAPTURE with G200-TV pl help

i have athlon500/asusk7M ..

when i tried to RECORD tv OR CATTURE VIDEO FOOTAGE from VCR
ima getting "VIDPRESS" unable to read the file" whereas..it is able to capture .BMP files
earlier my G200-TV was doing proper capture from tv/VCR with celeron 333

can some one pl provide solution
