Using tv-out with no monitor attached works using the second head in clone mode. But as soon as you have no monitor on head 1, booting windows98 results in a display resolution of 640 x 480, I can't access 800 x600 or 1024 x 768 anymore. Windows must know there isn't a monitor attached and reset to standard 640 x 480 vga. Anyone know a workaround? I've tried uncheacking detect plug n play monitor, also setting monitor type to 800 x 600 or television but always defaults to 640 x 480.
I've enabled tv-out in the G400 bios for dos. Is it possible to boot to tv on head 1? I've tried but I get a rolling out of sync picture. I'm using PAL 32" Sony tv via s-video port.
