display problem!!

hi,i am a G400 user.
a few day ago, when i start(or restart) my computer.
there is no display(all black),but i can hear the sound of HD,and feel the computer is still "in-run".
if i am lucky,when it run "into" win98,the display will appear,otherwise,it will auto-showdown.

i have this problem a month ago,and i send it to the agency to repair.
there is no problem when i recieve the repaired product.
but no more two week(now), the problem appears again.

all that i want to ask is how do i do now?
repair again?or....?

ps.i think there is no problem in my monitor

in general,i have already known what you say.
but it is still hard to fully understand for me,the poor-english ability & computer knowledge.^_^
i'll spend time to learn it.
but, can you give me a "simple" step(process),let me to fix this problem first.
because of my midtern examination,and i need to use my computer.-_-'

finally, thank you very much,because you let me get a glean hope of survival of my G400.

After try many time,my G400 is alive.
all that i do is create a destroy "mypins.txt".
and let all the number be the same with Jadawin's correct pins
beside "pins version","s/n","p/n","pcb".
and update mypins.txt to my bios.
finally my G400 work^_^

there still one question?
how do i avoid this problem?(beside backup PINS and BIOS)
