jd, Are you restarting the DVD player after each setting tweak? I noticed that the CineMaster player only checks these settings at startup.

Can I ask everybody what settings they like best for their CineMaster player? NTSC TV only please.
      • Deinterlacing:
      • Surface Flip Mode:
      • Surface Flip Position:
      • Enforce Flip Sync:
      • Triple Buffering:
      • Any other setting effect DVD Max TV display quality?

I was until I bought a G400 2 weeks ago. If fact It was the only player that didn't use 100% of my CPU. I used 1.028 engine with the 1.6 control panel.

Further to my posting on the 25/10/99, I have got the original Matrox DVD player running now with fully functional MATRIX special feature menus. All you need to do is replace dvdpld32.dll with version 2.0.15.1123 which can be found on the 1.0.36 cinemaster decoder distribution.
Only replace the one DLL, all the other benefits of the standard Matrox release (such as smooth playback when iconised) remain. So far no crashes, if there are any I'll post what I find.

                          What update would that be?
People have "hacked" updates for the cinemaster engine, but Matrox has not made any "official" update package available for download...
