DVD and Windows 2000 RTM (2195) using G400

Has anyone gotten ANY! DVD player to work with G400 under Windows 2000? I have gotten WinDVD to access the DVD player but it just starts skipping on the FBI screen. I have heard that PowerDVD works but I dont know if it works using the G400. The Matrox player wont even install it just disappears into the OS. I even tried using

I havn't tried it on the retail, but on rc3 powerdvd worked perfectly (better than in win98) on my MAX
