Lockups

I have a Celeron 366 64mgs of ram G400 Monster 3d sound card. And my computer will lock up for no reason, weather playing games or having it sit there, scaning for viruses and running scandisk. It will totally lock up, no sound no screen movement, mouse is frozen, no harddrive activity and no cdrom activity. I am using the turbo gl drivers from matrox... is that the problem? It is VERY annoying... thanks....

Is there a motherboard in that system? What are your IRQ's assigned to? Driver versions?

Try AGP 1x.

Try running with the lid off and a desk-fan blowing onto the insides. If this cures it, maybe the card/cpu is overheating?

Has it ever worked out of interest. Also whats the motherboard and irq's
