    WHAT THE HELL IS A G400 "VANILLA" ???

    ASUS 40x-CDROM(UDMA33)
    Realtek 8019 Ethernet(ISA)
    CTX 19" Monitor(95khz)

    my system:

    AMD XP 2000+
    Abit KTA7 (VIA 4.49)
    512MB SDRAM133
    Matrox Millennium G400 MAX (5.91, AGP 2x)
    Windows XP Prof

    It's what we call the Retail G400 non-MAX version. The "Vanilla" has 6ns memory instead of the 5ns that the MAX has and also lacks the fan that comes with the MAX.

      Could be the result of someone trying to make vanilla ice cream and using the G400 as a spoon.....

            Hold on guys, for there's Vanilla's around with 5ns RAM onboard, or disfunct MAX'es. They're still Vanilla.

            A MAX isn't chocolate, but more like Desert with a gorgeous lady, who you can spray with whip-cream.

            That is... if you can get it to work with your mobo (hmmm, Trout O'Luv? )
