    The s/n is in the information tab of display properties.

      but isn´t it suppose to end with 16 or 32 and two letters?

      It´s juas that to me that nubmer is very different from the ones i´ve seen in this forum

        you said to look for it in te box and because mine is a bulk i remembered to look on the bag and there is was

        G4+MA16G

        what does this mean?

          This might not be 100% correct, but I would say:

          G4 = G400
          MA = Matrox
          16 = 16MB
          G = SGRAM, as opposed to SDRAM

            That's the model # of the card.

            Serial # starts with s/n abc12345

            It has 3 letters followed by 4 or 5 numbers.
