G400 + DOS refresh rates

how can i get a higher refresh rate than 60hz in my old DOS-games like warcraft2 ?

with my old g200 and the 3.47-bios/utilities i was able to set all refresh rates individual. is this possible for the g400 (1.04 bios), too.

i tried "vbext.exe" and GX00VBE.COM (vesa 3).

please help.

I have one more problem. When running 320x200pixel DOS game, every 20-30 s. the screen blackens for appx. half a second (not switched to STAND-BY mode). With higher resolutions it is OK.

I can assume that it is based in invalid communication between DOS video driver or video card BIOS and monitor in area of power saving mode.
