Just bring down the console by pressing Tilda "~" then type Password murc. It's that simple. Enjoy the frags.

Quake2 keep saying

"..Password incorrect ot password required."
"..Connection refused."

I already press "~" to pull down the console and key in "password murc". Anything wrong??

What's the correct password anyway??

What's wrong is that somebody at Matrox forgot to change the password for the Q2 server.

Haig already knows about it...hopefully he can get it switched remotely, since they've all gone home for the Holiday weekend.

The UT server has the correct password, though

Tech support blasting will simply need to be done on the UT server... It has been a long time since TS or beta boyz has gone on the Q2 server... all are on UT....

I have been on that server all weekend and never is there more that 2 Murc'ers on there. Its just me a the bots. Which I have beaten twice, And Kruzin still crushed me ...DAMM !!

Hee hee... it's pretty quiet at the Canadian front. There were LAMFDTK, Oso[MU], a would be DESTROYER, and a player with a German name, but I'm still waiting for someone to whoop me around a bit... :/

Too bad the American guys can only play at 0900 PM EST. Must be a cultural thingy, dominating wives and stuff...

I hopped in for a couple of rounds over the weekend. For the most part it was pretty quiet. Usually not more than one or two others playing UT at the same time.

I'm starting to wonder if my ISP sucks. Sometimes the response time was downright hideous between me and Matrox. It was always interesting to see where it thought I was and have it warp me there. It was not any fun to fire a rocket launcher, but there was so much delay before it actually fired that I hit myself in the back as I was chasing somebody.
