Oh good!!! I'm not the only one with such bad lag that I end up shooting myself. Occasionally my ping has been around 10,000. Every time I fired any weapon it took 15-30 sec before the rounds would hit

If your going to get wasted it doesn't hurt as much when you know your opponents...LOL

Thanks for opening up the servers Haig et al. Yup, I had a bunch of fun last night. My connection wasn't too bad last night. It wasn't perfect, mind you, because I clearly remember getting "warped" to a different location a time or two.

Does anybody else start going crosseyed and blurry after playing UT for a couple of rounds? I stare at monitors all day at the office, but it only seems to get me in FPS games. I think that I am trying to change my focus point for the depth because the 3D looks so good.

Sometimes I get my butt kicked, sometimes I'm kicking butt. I always enjoy the mutual assured destruction, though.

I assume we're going for another round tonight? See ya there.

wondering how many people from Tech Support will show up tonight?? There were a couple yesterday and I think that Haig even showed up at one point? I heard that he actually won a couple of rounds yesterday... as hard it is to beleive it... I will have to witness it for myself!

I was reinstalling Win98 at that time after something crashed heavily here, so I'm still reinstalling alot of games... Will be back later this week

Antler, tech supp and some of the beta testers are on between 9pm-10pm EDT.

It should be up until Jan 4th.

Can anyone confirm that Q2 is working? We changed the password to murc last week but it hasn't taken affect for some reason.

Nope. "murc" is still not working as a password on the Q2 server.

And for some reason, I cant find the Q2 server with Pingtool....but it is there in Gamespy, or if manually connected too...

BTW - where was I when you won this supposed round of UT? I musta missed that one
