  • Max AGP speed

I get my new system tomorrow. The guy who built it says the G400 became unstable above 89mhzAGP/133mhzFSB unless he disabled sidebanding and other AGP features, in which case it was OK all the way to 100/150. So I'll be running at 89/133, just like many posters to a previous thread.

Has anyone been running their G400 at a faster bus speed with AGP 2x fully enabled?

No comments? Surely someone knows how to get this thing to 100mhz w/o disabling anything.

I think I'd rather have 100Mhz AGP 1x than 89 MHz 2x, especially since the CPU would be running faster as well.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
