Daed G400?

My machine froze on shutting down Win98. When I turned the machine back on ,
it acts like I do not have a video card installed. I have a Matrox G400 SH
on an Epox MVP3G-M mb. I have reinserted the card several times without
effect. I had to install an old PCI card. Do G400s just die? Could
something have gone wrong with the AGP system? How can I test the latter - I
don't have another AGP card.

Try http://grafi.ii.pw.edu.pl/gbm/matrox/ to get more information. You may have your BIOS corrupted.
If you have already flashed your G400, try to reflash it again (but you will need a PCI or ISA VGA card to boot into DOS).
