Just bought a G400 DH!!

It's just too awesome. I thought the 300MHz RAMDAC compared to my old V3 3000's 350MHz would show image degrations @ the 1600x1200 levels, but it aint. All show real sharp and vivid images. No blur at all with my CTX 711T.

Luckilly enough, I bought an old fella' 486 fan where it just, *SNAPS* onto the heatsink without a question - no I meant problem.

Didn't try to overclock yet, any suggested rates? Hmm.. planning on some mini heatsinks with standard SGRAM size.

All I have to say is - Good to go Matrox!! US$150 is the way to go!!

G800 is next for me! I'm sold!!!

Yeap yet to see it's DVD (MPEG2) performance with DVDMAX. Just too exciting!!

get the official matrox tweak control from this site, you should be able to get up to 120% if your lucky be remember to take it slowly and test it fully (hour on quake)

I too remember the pleasant joy of upgrading to the g400.

And, I've been pulling 40+ on most Q3A video modes.

I do recommend the TurboGL if you like to play those latest games.

I've been using MGA tweak. I can take my DH from 262 stock pll to 300-310 and still play.
