  • Need help...

    Hi!

I sort of have a big problem in my hands, and I am desperately seeking help on this one. I use a G200-board and well, basically, I decided to run one of the bios upgrade programs on this site (unfortunately, this happened quite some time ago, and I dont recall whitch of the programs I used). Anyways, I ran the program, and after a while my computer freezes, nothing happens for quite a while, so I figured that I ought to just reboot the damn thing and use the emergency disk i had made. Bad call I guess, because when waiting for it to reboot, nothing happens, and I mean NOTHING. Nothing boots, not the bios or anything. But it seemed that the board had been found because the computer didnt start "screaming" about it.
So, there you have it... no emergency disk helps when nothing boots right? So what am I to do? I'm at the moment stuck with a 4 years old PCI-based board.
Now, Im kind of new to this, and I dont know if I've covered everything you guys need to know, and if this is the case, I'm hoping you will let me know of that and ask me .

I believe the process of re-flashing involves the use of an old ISA video card (while the Gxxx is still in the system)

I never done it, don't know much of the details, but it's a start (and yes, plug the monitor into the isa video card....)

Umm... my problem is that the system wont boot with any AGP-based board anymore (sorry for not making this clear earlier), I really couldn't care less about the G200-board...
