Is there a simple and free benchmark that tests your whole system performance?

I need to figure out the impact of changing settings on the whole system. Does anyone know of a benchmark that does this? 3DMark 2000 for instance only gives you video card and CPU scores. Even more important for me is HD swapping, and various other things. For the games that I have right now, I don't think the video card (G400 32MB) is a bottleneck. So when overclocking the bus and stuff, I need to figure out the impact on other things.
