    Nice hardware information utility. Go to START, RUN, and type in, "hwinfo /ui" (without the quotes) and execute. Enjoy

              Or you can try "msconfig" when you want to disable some program causing conflicts on startup, or just to unload crap for more resources. :0)

                As long as we're posting tips.
                You can use winipcfg like a dialup adapter to connect & disconnect from the internet if you have a permanent connection like cable or dsl and don't always want to be open to the public.
