Cinemaster engine 1.028 DOES disable macrovision. Delete all files relating to cinemaster in your system dir (cine*.* and qi*.*, I think...backup first), and then unzip the 1.208 engine files into your system dir and reboot.
You'll probably get a better image from Cinemaster anyway, so just go that route.
