The two most commonly overclocked components are the CPU and the Processor
now, in most cases... not all, but most
The overclocking, if done with moderation, and carefully, will not burn out the hardware for afew years.
How long is a CPU/Video Card good for these days?
Well, video cards.. the latest and greatest thing is out every quarter it seams.
And CPU's are jumping off the charts. My PII400, was top of the line 6months ago. Now there are 800mhz computers.
It doubled in less than a year.
I know for a fact in two years I will have a new Processor, and a new graphics card. So why not take advantage of all the preformance I can get while I can?
