  • How do I know I have AGP 2x enabled?

Make sure to run an actual AGP app or game before running this test. Many systems will only report 1x mode until the card is used. Run 3dMark, or Final Reality, or something.

But it may be that you can't use 2x on your system, due to bus noise or many other factors.

And, lastly, I am obliged to tell you that it makes absolutely no speed difference outside synthetic benchmarks.

How do I know I have AGP 2x enabled?

I have the PciList v1.30 and the AGP switch installed. I used the AGP switch to change to AGP2x but in the PCIlist it says that the AGP is 1x. My card and my board are capable of AGP 2x, according to the PCIlist. What's going on? What other utilities to I need to force AGP 2x?
