How to make an *.mpr custom monitor file

Hi, i've got an Vision master pro 510 and this monitor is not in matrox's list. I know u can make a custom list, but i don't know how. I assume with notepad, and then put some resolutions in, but in what order. Can someone help me out?

You mean you found the monitor settings and you didn't see the adjust buttons? Try clicking on those.

Allright here's mine, but it's not finished yet, only 16 and 32 bit modes upto 1280x1024 are done.

Stupid server, just rightclick and choose 'save as' and make sure it ends with .mpr not .htm, or download the zipped version which should always work.

BTW you did install the correct monitor in windows from the disk you got with the monitor?

Yes, i did install the monitor with the floppy. Monitor settings shows a strange name though, but it ends with A201HT.
By the way, when my monitor goes into standby mode(after 15 mins), it takes approx. 2,5 mins to get the desktop completely fill the screen. I mean when it returns to normal mode, there are small black borders on the sides(mostly right)(1.3CM). is this normal?

Zullen we Cyberdude uitnodigen en er hier een gezellig nederlands onderonsje van maken??

Nicap, die zwarte balken links en rechts heb ik ook af en toe met m'n Vision Master Pro 450. Enige manier om ervanaf te komen is een reboot.

Die drivers die ik hierboven heb gezet, zijn de allerlaatste bijgewerkte. Doe er je voordeel mee

Ik zal die drivers zo ff proberen. Dat met die balken gaat wel weer weg, maar het duurt zo lang. Hij doet er 2,5 minuut over om weer normaal te worden. Maar ik hoef dus niet te rebooten ofzo. Maar als dat niet normaal is, dan bel ik iiyama.

Ik heb die nieuwe drivers gedownload en geinstalleerd. Bij monitor in PD staat nu de goeie naam. Alleen de rest blijft hetzelfde.
Ik zal morgen iiyama eens bellen en vragen of dat normaal is of niet, dat van die randen.

Heb ik gelijk nog een vraag. Ik heb een VGA naar Scart kebel en vroeg mij af of ik die kon aansluiten op de tweede uitgang van de G400? En dan uiteraard naar TV. Als het goed is moet dat willen op mijn sharp, ik kon namelijk ook mijn Amiga daar rechtsreeks op aansluiten(naar de tweede scart). Geen idee of jullie hier ook een antwoord op weten, anders zet ik de vraag er wel in het engels op. Maar dit is wat makkelijker.

Voor zover ik weet is dat gewoon mogelijk. Maar ja, je kunt voor de zekerheid nog in het Engels navragen. Maar als een VGA naar S-VHS werkt, waarom dan niet VGA naar Scart??

Ik zou zeggen: Test het om zekerheid te krijgen.

Die vga-> scart is dat hetzelfde als RGB?
Dat bedoelde ik eigenlijk. Sorry voor de verwarring. Je kan nu geen type kabel meer kiezen. Maar voor de G200 kon je wel kiezen. en toen stond er geloof ik ook een RGB kabel tussen. Ik wil het wel proberen, maar stel dat ik m'n tv verknal. das niet de bedoeling.

Nee, een RGB kabel heeft 5 pinnige stekker aan het einde, terwijl een SCART zo'n groot blok is.

Ik kan het ook mis hebben

Je kunt moeilijk je TV verknallen, of je videokaart als je daar benauwd voor bent.
