  • Date for final G400 drivers

    Hi all

Has anyone got any ideas as to when we are likely to see a (final driver) as apposed to the recent 5.50 (beta driver)??

I have been using the beta for a while now and have not seen too many probs but would like to have a more mature version of it for sure.

Also has anyone got any ideas as to how much more performance can be sqeezed out of the G400 Max chipset,Its a mighty fine chip by the way its just that I like to see more power from drivers and less problems. :P

Does the introduction of the next gen matrox chip mean that the G400 will be forgotten when it comes to the drivers?? I HOPE NOT :P

    Regards Max-Payne :P

As you have the staus of "MURCer", I would think you'd know better than to ask that question!

The answer is: When they are ready.

The real answer isn't *soon*, it's nobody here knows anything, only Matrox does.

Only if they have a deadline, which I doubt.

As to the last part of your question, Matrox has always done a pretty good job of driver support for older cards.
