Whats with the Dual Head?

Ok, I've had my G400Max since the Pre-order days. I've been amazingly happy with it. I can live with bad OGL in lightwave and other programs. I'd like to know why I can only have the second monitor in either 16bit or 32bit? Why not 24Bit? I run my main in 1280x1024 24-bit, No problems there.Even DVDs' play nice.. I don't understand the 16 or 32 on the dual head though. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I have an Athlon 600 and my Max run wonderfully, so it is possible.

24-bit modes are not fully hardware accelerated and will probably be abandoned soon. There is no reason for using 24-bit mode instead of 32-bit. Well, you save some memory but you als lse speed.

OK, I see your point then. So should I be able to get DVD to play back at 1280x1024x32 bit WITH DualHead enabled? Because I cant now.. I have to go to 24 bit to play at that Rez.
