System Requirements- MMX -yes I read the maunal!!

Ok, I read the maunals and looked over the data, and I have a burning question.

I am looking to buy the g200-tv mostly for video capture and gaming, nothing fancy.

I have a Dell Dimension XPS200n. This is a Pentium Pro 200 folks, and I am running Windows 2000. Yes I am happy with this setup!

I have a PCI slot only, no AGP. And no MMX. I am not concerned with system speed, but abilities like video capture and TV out.

Will all options be enabled with PCI and non MMX machines? ATI's AIW 128 tech service said I was out of luck.

Any suggestions?

Well the Video forum would prolly give ya better answers..

But, I know that the Matrox Video capture is a Hardware solution, and the ATi AIW has a software solution... I would think the Matrox would be the better choice...

I'm not sure on the G200 capture, but the G400 Marvel does MJPEG in hardware which can be converted into MPEG2... though MJPEG is a very large compression so you'll need some disk space...
